Bag Production Start-up Package

You're completing the drawings and data sheets for your bag collection. You're looking for someone who can produce all the initial stages: pattern, prototype, sample, bill of materials and labour cost sheet.

How do we kick off?

After you've finished reading this and completed the form with your information, I'll send you a set of questions to check if I'm the right person to produce your bags.

After the free assessment and the chat to get more information on certain aspects, we move on to developing the pattern. Then my staff and I will create the prototype, which will be made of a test material and used to check if the dimensions of the bag and its details are as you imagined them when you designed it.

Once the bag's prototype has been approved, the sample is made with the definitive materials and approved accessories that you've provided or that we've decided on after discussing the materials.

This is a very delicate stage because other players come into the picture: the suppliers (accessories, materials and more).

To make everything come together, you need good organisation and a lot of collaboration.

After the sample's been approved, you'll also have the cost of the bag for production. (IF YOU NEED A BATCH OF LESS THAN 50 PIECES, GO TO THE DEDICATED SECTION: SMALL PRODUCTION RUNS – REQUEST A CUSTOMISED QUOTATION)

Once all the information you need to send me has been collected, developing the prototype takes up to 10 working days. The same applies to the sample, which will be developed once you've confirmed every detail and sent the prototype back to me.

WHAT I NEED:

• Bag design (I don't keep pre-packaged models and I don't stock other customers' models)
• Data sheet with measurements, materials, accessories and all the necessary information
• Test materials provided by you or by me after consultation
• Test accessories provided by you or by me after consultation
• Definitive materials provided by you or by me after consultation
• Definitive accessories provided by you or by me after consultation
• An hour of your time to do a complete assessment
• One meeting at the company

What will you get?

• Pattern
• Prototype
• Final sample
• Bill of materials and labour cost sheet
• Analysis of critical issues for the development of the production run

The payment for this stage of work is 50% upon confirmation of the order and the remaining 50% at the end of the job.

You'll be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect your work.

The price for this stage is €1200 + VAT (where applicable)
